UFC 186: Rampage Jackson rips Bellator in post-fight comments

The much litigated cage fighting star had some unfavorable comparisons to make between his current and former employers following his decision win over Fabio Maldonado last night.

Following weeks of injunctions and counter-injunctions, Quinton Jackson wasn't shy in his post-UFC 186 comments about his former employer Bellator.

"I'm not worried about what they do," Jackson said at the post-fight press conference. "I want to give Dana and Lorenzo big thanks. They had my back, they helped me out. I'm saying it right now. I was over there — Bellator can't f—k with the UFC.

"This is like the most stressful time in my whole career," he said. "I've been fighting for 15 years and I never had to deal with what I had to deal with just to get here. I hope I never have to deal with that again. But like I said before, I'm a fighter. I fight everything, every little thing. I don't even know why I fight half the stuff I fight. Ask my kids, I fight them all the time. I fight everything. I want to win. I felt like I won just by making it here to Canada."

Jackson was briefly pulled off the card when Viacom/Bellator was granted an emergency injunction by New Jersey Superior Court judge Karen L. Suter on April 7. That injunction was overturned by New Jersey appellate divsion superior court judge John Kennedy.

Kennedy ruled that Bellator failed to prove they would suffer "irreparable harm" if Jackson fought.

Unfortunately for Jackson, the lawsuit itself will continue to wind its way through the legal system.
