The MGM Grand seats 16,000 people for certain events. The May 2nd mega-fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather would seem like one of those events. But because the promoters were still battling over details (ie. money), tickets for the events didn't even go on sale until yesterday.
The MGM Grand in Las Vegas has a capacity of 16,500 but only about 1,000 seats can be bought by the public.
The rest will go to the fighters, the casino, sponsors and promoters.
The cheapest ticket for the 2 May bout will cost £1,000 ($1,500), rising to around £5,000 ($7,500).
The MGM also announced the sale of thousands of closed circuit seats at its various properties at £100 ($150) apiece.
Those 1,000 seats sold out in a minute, which isn't much a surprise. And a lot of them are already on the secondary market - which means they were bought up by scalpers who will flip them for a tidy profit.
According to the New York Post, the average ticket price on the secondary market is already a ridiculous $11,000.
So if you want to see the biggest boxing fight of all time live, you better have deep pockets.
