Been feeling like you need to take a trip to the dentist lately? Well, Corey Anderson is here to lift your spirits and reassure you that whatever problems you may have going on in your mouth right now, they're probably not as gruesome as his. After suffering a 3rd Round knockout loss to Gian Villante last weekend on the UFC on Fox 15 prelims, Anderson needed some serious dental reconstructive surgery. Apparently a well timed knee to the jaw from Villante did the lion's share of the damage, but either way the results weren't pretty.
WARNING, gruesome instagram photo below:
After fight damage. Getting my teeth pulled back in place and baced to the others and the laceration/hole in my lip/chin. All happened in the first minute of the fight. @ufc @danawhiteufc #6teeth #8stitches #sore #ilovethissport #hatehospitals #thedentistwasafanofmine #stillsmiling #ifeellikekanyewest #ufcnewjersey
Maybe that's the reason that Anderson was so tentative to shoot for a takedown the rest of the fight?
