Back in January, boxing legend Manny Pacquiao wished UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey the best of luck ahead of her UFC 184 showdown with Cat Zingano, and now Rousey is returning the favor as Pacquiao prepares for his globally anticipated superfight with undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. In this tweet posted by the Pac-man himself, he met the one and only Rousey, and he has photo evidence!
Nate Diaz: Matt Brown fight was never negotiated
Nate Diaz has long been at odds with the UFC, and he's not pleased with the way the announced matchup between him and Matt Brown was handled.
Thank you for visiting me @RondaRousey and for your support. God Bless! pic.twitter.com/Dcflha6aFR— Manny Pacquiao (@MannyPacquiao) April 14, 2015
Nothing like a little combat sport "champ meets champ" moment to savor for both parties.
These two have been connected in some way, shape, or form on multiple occasions this year. Rousey told TMZ (post-Zingano victory) that she would be rooting for Pacquiao over Mayweather on the basis that he'd been "very very nice to her". A few weeks later on ESPN television, Pacquiao went on record as saying that Rousey could beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an MMA bout, citing how strong she is.
