The Arizona Boxing & MMA Commission has released the medical suspensions for the World Series of Fighting 19 event last Saturday in Phoenix. According to the commission, 12 fighters were handed varying suspensions, including the title fight headliners Jusin Gaethje ad Luis Palomino. Also amongst that list was an indefinite suspension for one of the fighters who was offered a "safety recommendation" to retire from professional competition.

Atop the suspension list, which was released to MMAFighting.com, were lightweights Gaethje and Palomino, who took part in a thrilling ‘Fight of the Year' candidate that lead to a third-round TKO victory for the defending champion. However, Gaethje was handed a 45-day suspension to deal with various injuries, while Palomino was given a 60-day suspension to get orthopedic clearance on his knee, ankle and thigh.

Interestingly, the commission also dealt an indefinite suspension to 31-year-old Eric Regan, as well as a "safety recommendation to stop competing" after he was viciously knocked out via head kick.
