Earlier in the week, UFC and Strikeforce veteran Ryan Jensen was featured on the news after he was robbed by a couple of thieves right outside his gym.
"I come out and my truck was wide open and they ransacked it all," Jensen told WOWT 6 News.
The fighter pulled up surveillance footage from his gym and checked transactions from his credit card. With the information he gathered, he was able to successfully track the two thieves in their stolen vehicle at a nearby Walmart.
"I blocked the car in, got out of the car and knocked on the window and was like 'hey, you've got my stuff and the cops are on the way. You're not going anywhere.'"
According to Jenson, the suspect then started running and entered the store, where Jensen chased after him while shouting for security. The police eventually arrived and arrested the two suspects.
"I definitely could have reacted way differently on that situation, especially given my background."
Jensen is 37 years old, and has compiled a 20-8 record during his 17-year MMA career. He has fought 8 times with the UFC, going 2-6 in his two stints with the promotion.
