There wasn't much fanfare for the UFC 189: Aldo vs. McGregor World Tour press conference in London yesterday, and if you ask me, the event being closed to the public may have had something to do with it. This was a media only event and only Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor (and Dana White, of course) participated, with co-headliners Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald not taking part in the European part of the eight-city tour.
If you're still craving some more Aldo and McGregor soundbites, MMA Mad was on-site in England for the proceedings and has compiled a complete replay of the press conference for the public to view. Bloody Elbow readers can watch the hour-long session in the playlist at the top of the page (it's divided into six parts). The quotables aren't as abundant or provocative compared to previous tours, although McGregor said he will finish Aldo within 4 minutes.
Whoa TV also has footage of the latest staredown between the two rivals, which you can view in the video below.
Don't forget that at 1 PM ET/10 AM PT today, the final stop in the World Tour is in Dublin, Ireland, which should provide a pulsating and incredible atmosphere. You can view the live video stream here.
