UFC 184 medical suspensions: Ronda Rousey out for a week following 14 second win

The California State Athletic Commission has released the medical suspensions for all the fighters who competed on the UFC 184 card last Saturday.

UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey defended her title against Cat Zingano in 14 seconds flat and was handed a mandatory seven-day medical suspension for her efforts. The suspension is the absolute minimum that a fighter can be dealt following a combat sporting event, and more than enough relaxation time for the champion.

On the other side of the spectrum is Raquel Pennington, who was suspended for six-months and required x-rays on both of her hands before she would be cleared for competition. Six other fighters who received the same suspension length joined her.
