Invicta FC 12 full card announced for April 24th

Invicta FC is returning to Kansas City, Missouri on April 24th for their next night of Women's MMA action. Headlining the card will be a strawweight title fight between champion Katja Kankaanpaa and challenger Livia Renata Souza. Kaankanpaa has been quiet on the MMA front, since winning her vacant title last September, with a dramatic come-from-behind 5th round submission of Stephanie Eggink. Her challenger, Livia Renata Souza, has cut her teeth on the Brazilian regional scene, amassing an unbeaten 7-0 record, with 6 wins coming by way of first round submission. It should make for an action packed grappling battle between the two women.

In new booking news, however, Roxanne Modafferi returns in the co-main event, where "The Happy Warrior" will take on longstanding veteran Vanessa Porto, at 125 lbs. Also returning are Ediane Gomes against Raquel Pa'aluhi and Peggy Morgan taking on Latoya Walker.
