On Tuesday, the Ultimate Fighting Championship announced a new broadcast partnership with NOVA Sport, which will allow UFC events to be televised in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the first time.

NOVA Sport subscribers will be able to watch the live broadcasts for all UFC events, as well as other programming such as UFC Ultimate Insider and UFC Fight Flashbacks. The live content will be available on the NOVA Sports premium channel.

The latest partnership comes at the heels of the UFC's announcement that they will be broadcasting events in The Netherlands this year, starting with UFC 185. Earlier this year, the promotion also announced a significant deal with Russian TV, and also had their broadcast ban in Germany annulled by the Administrative court in Munich.

"As MMA continues on it's journey as the fastest growing sport in the world, I am thrilled to welcome NOVA Sport into the UFC family," said David Allen. "They will now be able satisfy the increasing demand for UFC events within EMEA and their experience and expertise in sports broadcasting makes them the perfect partner for the UFC in this region."

It was also revealed that Ondřej Novotný, an acclaimed martial arts broadcaster in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, would provide commentary for the live fights.

"UFC is one of the most exclusive brands on the market," said Petr Horák, Head of Diverzification of NOVA Group. "We are delighted to be able to air exclusive broadcasts of these fighting shows, featuring the best production the world, for the NOVA Sport premium station's audiences."
