Bellator 134 - The British Invasion has just lost one of its' most anticipated bouts.

British star Michael "Venom" Page has been forced to pull out of his scheduled bout with Curtis Millender, according to a report by MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani. With less than 5 days left until the event, it seemed unlikely that the promotion would be able to find a replacement, but former title challenger Brennan Ward has stepped up to the plate.

Michael Page has had an extraordinary start to his MMA career. The former kickboxer is unbeaten in his career thus far, scoring 6 finishes out of his 7 fights. Page's replacement, Ward, will be eager to end a two fight losing streak when he steps in against the undefeated Millender.

Page's removal will come as a bitter blow for Bellator, the promotion initially intended to have a fight card stacked with its best British fighters, but injuries have left James Thompson without an opponent and since Douglas Lima has been injured, Paul Daley has been forced to take a non title fight, leaving the card as a shadow of what its former self. Liam McGeary will be looking to fly the union jack in the main event as he faces Emanuel Newton for the light heavyweight title.
