UFC featherweight Diego Brandao threatens journalists in Brazil: 'Do you know who I am?'

The UFC Featherweight fighter was apparently intoxicated and playing with barbecue skewers, which is illegal in the Brazilian city of Manaus.

Diego Brandao got involved in a controversy with members of A Critica TV in Manaus, a city where the UFC fighter has spent quite a bit of time in his life.

During the Carnival holiday, it's reported that he and a group of friends were playing with barbecue skewers, which is illegal by municipal law. When they noticed that they were being recorded, Brandao immediately ran in the direction of the camera and started to threaten the journalists, while apparently under the influence of alcohol.

In the middle of a series of swear words, Brandao said that he'll sue the TV station if the video get published, calling the situation a "privacy invasion". At the end of the argument, he threatened one of the reporters, telling him "if you want to (expletive) with me, I'll (expletive) you up good". Video of the incident can be seen at the top of the page.

The featherweight fighter has no fight scheduled. His bout at UFC 183 was scrapped on the day of the event, back on January 31, after his opponent Jimy Hettes had to pull out of the fight due to illness.
