After winning three straight bouts outside the Octagon, Phillipe Nover (10-5-1) has returned to the UFC. The Filipino-American fighter will be making a homecoming of sorts as he begins his second stint with the UFC on the promotion's first trip to the Philippines.
He will have a tough task ahead of him though as he faces a top Korean fighter in Yui Chul Nam (18-4). The news was first reported by Milan Ordonez of ABS-CBN Sports, stating that the two fighters will be dropping down a weight class each for this featherweight contest.
Nover was a contestant from The Ultimate Fighter 8, and received a fair amount of hype from unfair comparisons that were made, but he will get another chance to make a name for himself inside the Octagon. After taking a break from Mixed Martial Arts, Nover got his 4th win in his last 5 bouts last January.during the show. He wasn't able to live up to the
