"The Wait is Finally Over!" the post read. "Tune in tomorrow."
EA Sports UFC is a mixed martial arts video game based on the UFC developed by Electronic Arts (EA) and SkyBox Labs, and was released last summer. A beta version was released for free prior to the launch of the official game. The beta featured former light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson as the two playable characters. This was the first UFC game released since THQ sold the license to EA in 2012. Despite lots of anticipation leading up to the game's release, it received mediocre reviews.
The game was praised by players for their several additions of content, including extra fighters, post-release. Fans were appreciative of the many updates the game received, fixing lots of bugs/glitches as well as adding the extra content.
Also, the developers released a mobile version of the game, which has been downloadable on iOS and Android devices since this past April, and is free-to-play.
According to the above tweet, details of the game will be revealed on Tuesday. BloodyElbow.com will keep you updated with the latest news surrounding EA Sports UFC 2.
