Vitor Belfort targets Luke Rockhold after Henderson win: 'I've got my eye on him'

After his stunning first round KO of Dan Henderson at UFC São Paulo, Vitor Belfort eyes a rematch with Luke Rockhold in the near future.

It took just a minute longer for Vitor Belfort to KO Dan Henderson in the rematch at UFC Fight Night 77. "The Phenom," who is now the record holder for the most KO's in UFC history, finished 45-year-old Dan Henderson with the same headkick he landed two years ago in Goiânia, Brazil.

It was a stunning triumph for the Brazilian, whose future as an elite middleweight had been brought into question after losing the TRT.

After his demoralizing defeat to reigning champion Chris Weidman at UFC 187, Belfort sprung back into the winners column with style and has his sights set on a familiar opponent.

The former light-heavyweight champion teased at a possible rematch with Luke Rockhold at the post-fight press conference in São Paulo.

"There's a guy, Luke Rockhold, that keeps talking a lot," Belfort said. "He's talking a lot, he's a talker. Disrespectful guy. Really good, talented, but... I've got my eye on him."

It didn't take long for the AKA standout to respond.

Belfort and Rockhold met in the main event at UFC on FX 8 in 2013, which saw the Rio de Janeiro-born fighter land a spectacular spinning heel kick knockout in the first round.

Rockhold rebounded from the loss, tallying a four-fight win streak before being granted with a crack at the title against Chris Weidman. Weidman vs. Rockhold will serve as the co-main event for UFC 194 on December 12th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
