Khabib speaks out following injury: 'I am not made of iron’

Less than a week removed from his most recent fight withdrawal due to injury, Khabib Nurmagomedov took to Instagram to address his fans.

The UFC lightweight apologized to his fans, acknowledged their support, and responded to his critics.

"I want to tell you that over the last week I have received on social networks about 100,000 messages from different corners of the world. Some were unhappy with me, and some who supported me. Thanks to all who have supported and continue to do so for the last two years. You have to understand I'm not made of iron, and I am the same person as you all are."

Салам аллейкум Всем, хочу Вам сказать что за последнюю неделю я получил в своих социальных сетях около 100 тысяч сообщений, с разных уголков мира, кто то был недоволен мною, а кто то поддержал, спасибо всем кто поддержал и продолжают это делать, да последние почти 2 года я получаю травмы и выбиваю с поединков подводя как болельщиков так и UFC, но вы должны понять я не из железа, и я такой же человек как и все вы.
