M-1 Global

On December 4, 2015, M-1 Global will host the 63rd edition of the Challenge series when they return to St. Petersburg for an intriguing night of fights spearheaded by a pair of title fights.

The M-1 Challenge 63 main event will feature an anticipated rematch between light-heavyweight champion Stephan Puetz and Viktor Nemkov. Their first fight took place in March, 2014 when Puetz won a split decision to claim the LHW title. Since then, Puetz has gone 3-0 as a champion for M-1 Global. His opponent, Nemkov, also compiled a three-fight win streak, including a more recent victory against Maro Perak at M-1 Challenge 60.

The co-main event will feature a middleweight title fight between champion Ramazan Emeev and UFC veteran Luigi Fioravanti. Emeev regained the title with a submission victory against former champ and Bellator veteran Vyacheslav Vasilevsky. He will now take part in the first defence of his title since his win at M-1 Challenge 56 in Moscow. His opponent, Fioravanti, is 4-2 in his last six fights, incluing a submission win against Sergey Kovalev at M-1 Challenge 59.

M-1 Challenge 63 takes place Dec. 4 at the Sports and Concert Complex in St. Petersburg, Russia.
