Often times, MMA fighters will want peace and quiet during preparations leading up to their fight. They try to cut out all distractions from their life so they can focus on the fight as much as possible -- unless you're Donald Cerrone, of course.
UFC Fight Night 78 headliner Dan Henderson went down to his hotel's bar for a bite to eat on Tuesday afternoon, and returned to his room only to find a "drunk guy" passed out on his couch. Yes, you read that correctly. A drunk man chose to pay a visit to an MMA fighter's hotel room. The specific MMA fighter known for his brutal knockout power and specialty "H-Bomb."
Henderson posted a video showing the visitor on his Instagram account:
"Yeah, we just ate dinner in the bar downstairs and came back to our room and some guy is passed out drunk on the couch," he told the front desk via telephone, which can be heard in the video above. "I don't know how he got in our room."
Assuming the incident was taken care of, Hendo can now go back to focusing on his trilogy matchup with Vitor Belfort which headlines UFC Fight Night this Saturday at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The pair of middleweights most recently matched up in November 2013, also in Brazil, with The Phenom picking up a first-round head kick TKO against the granite-chinned Henderson.
And folks, remember to lock your doors tonight.
