Ronaldo Jacare feels good ahead of his pivotal match against Yoel Romero on December 12, and he owes a bit of that confidence to the former middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, who helped him as a sparring partner during the training camp.

As Jacare revealed to Portal do Vale Tudo, he is not the only one who feels good about himself, as Silva looks as lively as a young kid according to him.

"I'm good physically, technically and mentally. I'm prepared to put on one of the best performances of the night. I'm confident and I have been working hard."

"Anderson Silva helped me because he is a southpaw as well, he knows a lot of stuff," he said. "I can assure you he is well physically, too. He has the energy of a boy."

Ronaldo Jacare is expected to take Yoel Romero on a possible title eliminator fight on December 12, at UFC 194, in Las Vegas. On the co-main event of the evening, Chris Weidman will look to defend his belt against Luke Rockhold.

Listen to Jacare talk more about Silva and other various topics on his media scrum below.
