War Machine blows kiss at prosecutor, claims Christy Mack consented to assault

Former UFC and Bellator fighter Johnathan Koppenhaver is once again making headlines with his deranged behavior.

Koppenhaver - known as War Machine - was in court on Monday for a preliminary hearing on 34 charges levied against him that stem from allegations by adult film star Christy Mack. The charges include multiple counts of sexual assault and two counts of attempted murder.

While Koppenhaver is facing a lengthy prison sentence if convicted for some of those charges, he allegedly blew a kiss to the prosecutor, Chief Deputy District Attorney Jacqueline Bluth, during the hearing.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, Bluth interrupted the proceedings and stated: ""Judge, for the record, Mr. Koppenhaver just blew a kiss at me."

This is not the first time that Koppenhaver has acted bizarrely during a hearing. Last year, he laughed in court while Mack recited her testimony.  At the time, she was still recovering from several broken bones in her face, missing teeth, broken ribs, and a lacerated liver, all of which she allegedly suffered during his vicious assault in August 2014.

Koppenhaver's defense lawyers also argued that Mack's work in pornography could be seen as a form of consent, especially since the two seemingly participated in rough intercourse. The judge was not convinced about the link between pornography and consent.
