This weekend marks the 3rd bout between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson. These two rivals are currently tied 1-1, with Henderson winning the first bout by unanimous decision, and Belfort getting a 1st round head kick knockout win in their rematch in 2013.
In today's free fight video (which can be viewed at the top of the page), you can relive the full first showdown between Vitor and Hendo from PRIDE 32: The Real Deal in 2006 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. That night, Fedor beat Mark Coleman, Shogun got a kneebar on Kevin Randleman, and Robbie Lawler won by flying knee vs. Joey Villasenor.
Henderson would then KO Wanderlei Silva in February 2007 to become the PRIDE middleweight champion before getting consecutive UFC title shots at light heavyweight and middleweight. Belfort failed his drug test and never competed in PRIDE again. He would win a pair of bouts in Cage Rage, later drop to 185 lbs, crush Terry Martin and Matt Lindland in Affliction, then return to the UFC in 2009.
