Ronda Rousey has a history with Justin Bieber. Last month, the former women's bantamweight champion said Bieber refused to take a picture with her younger sister and almost reduced her to tears.
"So I walked over there and I said, 'Excuse me.' And he said, 'I've already taken a billion pictures today, Okay!' And I'm like, 'Yeah, but she's the only 16-year-old at the party.' I only got the 'Yeah but' out and he said, 'A billion!' And he walked way and totally snubbed my sister. She looks at me on the verge of tears and she goes, 'I'm no longer a Belieber,'" Rousey said to Cosmopolitan.
Yesterday, the pop sensation apologized for his behavior but dissed "Rowdy" shortly after.
"I guess, supposedly, she asked for a picture with her sister or something, and I guess I said no?" he tells Elvis Duran in an interview airing on "Entertainment Tonight" on Wednesday. "But I don't remember this happening so, Ronda, I'm sorry. Don't kick my ass!"
The 21-year-old says Ronda Rousey's beating has motivated him to get better at boxing.
"I would like to get better at boxing . . . Did you see Ronda Rousey?" — referring to the beating she took at the hands of Holly Holm in Australia earlier this week. "She got knocked out cold! Oh my God, she got knocked out so bad. Yeah no, she got pummeled."
Bieber, who has been spotted at UFC events in the past, is known to associate with Floyd Mayweather. Shortly after his 49th win over Andre Berto in September, boxing's pound for pound great was seen enjoying retirement with Justin Bieber in Bora Bora. The Canadian singer has also hit pads with Mayweather in the gym.
Ronda Rousey was beaten for the first time in her career when Holly Holm knocked her out in brutal fashion at UFC 193 last weekend in Melbourne, Australia.
"Rowdy" thanked everyone for the love and support she received from fans after the loss and vows to return: "I'm going to take a little bit of time, but I'll be back," Rousey said on Instagram.
