This Saturday night, boxing takes center stage with a much anticipated PPV encounter as Miguel Cotto (40-4) takes on Canelo Alvarez (45-1-1). Cotto vs. Canelo is live on HBO PPV this Saturday, November 21 with a fight time of 9:00 p.m ET.

One of the interesting aspects of this fight is that, while the general trend in picks seems to lean towards the younger and bigger Canelo, it remains a close fight, as the odds show.

Here are the odds on Odds Shark as of Tuesday, 4 days before fight time:

Canelo Alvarez -290
Miguel Cotto +260

So if you want to win money on Canelo, you need to bet $290 to bring yourself $100. On the other side, a $100 bet on Cotto will bring you $260.

For boxing, where mismatches are often the favored form of match making, these are somewhat close odds, just slightly wider than this past May's Mayweather vs. Pacquiao superfight.

For odds in completely the other direction, look no further than the Cotto vs. Canelo undercard, where highly touted Guillermo Rigondeaux takes on the 28-3-1 Drian Francisco. The odds for Rigondeaux in that one currently sit at -14000. You read that right, minus fourteen THOUSAND. Meaning a bet of $14,000 on Rigondeaux will earn you $100. On the flipside, Francisco is at +4500.

Fight fans, will you be putting any money down?
