UFC 193 video recap: Who won the Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm fight?

Check out Bloody Elbow's recap of the UFC 193 main event between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm for the UFC women's bantamweight championship on Saturday night in Australia.

Holly Holm shocked the world when she knocked out Ronda Rousey to win UFC women's bantamweight championship in the main event of UFC 193 on Saturday night. Rousey was often referred to as the most dominant athlete in combat sports. She was a massive favourite going into this bout, and lost in devastating fashion.

Let's look at the actual bout. Right from the get go, Rousey was pressuring Holm and was able to tag her a few times. She took Holm down once but the new titleholder was able to get back to the feet and begin to beat down on the former champ. Her movement was key in this match-up; and eventually she landed a heavy punch followed up by a picture-perfect head kick, and it was lights out for Rowdy.

What was the high point of the fight?

The high point of this fight was of course the ridiculous combination that Holm landed to end the fight. Holm's striking in this bout looked unbelievable and she opened up more than in her previous UFC outings. Seeing Rousey pressure Holm as much as she did and get tagged as much as she did was completely shocking to most watching at home.

Where do these two go from here?

I don't think Holm will be out of action for too long as she didn't take too much damage on Saturday, but a rematch is something that will likely happen in the near future. I believe they will give Rousey an immediate rematch because she is the UFC's star, title or not. A rematch between the two would possibly break records in all areas and could easily headline UFC 200 next summer.

Watch now, later, or never?

You have to watch arguably the biggest upset in UFC history right now.
