Ronda Rousey knows a big moment when she sees one.
The most prominent star in the UFC is set to defend her title in front of a 70,000+ stadium full of boisterous Australian fans in Melbourne. If the stadium nears maximum capacity, it will likely break the attendance record previously set by Toronto in 2011 at UFC 129.
And while the stats are impressive, Rousey simply hopes that she can work through her own struggles enough to be able to enjoy the moment ahead of the fight.
"I really hope I deserve this," Rousey told reporters. "I'm trying my best to deserve it. I really, really am. Sometimes it's just like that you kind of get wrapped up in how amazing this all is. You get so wrapped up in the fight and it causes so much fear and anxiety and stress in you. You kind of lose sight of how amazing it is sometimes. This fight has really been an opportunity to say that."
