Tonight, join us right here for live discussion of episode 8 of The Ultimate Fighter: Team McGregor vs. Team Faber. As always, the show airs on Fox Sports 1 at 10:00 p.m. ET.

Last week was not a good one for the Americans. From the European team mocking various things about their American counterparts, to our first (and hopefully only) incident of drunken fighting, to a loss in the fight, the American team just did not have a banner episode all around. Biggest letdown in there was the loss suffered by striker Thanh Le, who looked very good in his first fight and the opening round here, but ultimately lost via choke in the second (highlights above). All credit to Martin Svensson who did an excellent job making adjustments at the round break and earned the come from behind win.

With that win, Team Europe ties things up 3-3 and picks this week's fight. Their choice: Conor McGregor pal Artem Lobov vs. James Jenkins. Lobov (11-10-1; 1) trains at SBG and has some decent wins, including a victory over TUF teammate Svensson. But he also has already lost on this show, dropping a decision to Mehdi Baghdad, who has himself already been eliminated. That does not fill me with confidence. For Team US it's James Jenkins (8-1), a Serra-Longo fighter who has come up through Ring of Combat. Serra-Longo is a quality team that consistently produces guys at a certain level, and I feel like that level is above Lobov's. Look for Conor's buddy to go 0-2 on TUF tonight.

Here are the current standings:

Team McGregor (Europe) 3-3: Abner Lloveras, David Teymur, Frantz Slioa 0-1Marcin Wrzosek 1-0, Martin Svensson 1-0Mehdi Baghdad 0-1Sascha Sharma 0-1Saul Rogers 1-0, Artem Lobov

Team Faber (United States) 3-2: Billy Quarantillo 0-1Chris Gruetzemacher 1-0, James Jenkins, Jason Gonzalez, Julian Erosa 1-0Ryan Hall 1-0, Thanh Le 0-1Tom Gallicchio 0-1, Johnny Nunez
