"You have to ask her, I'm not going to answer any questions about that."
Edmond Tarverdyan initially sidestepped the topic about Ronda Rousey's mother going off with various criticisms, calling him a 'bad person' and a 'terrible coach' who is extremely disrespectful towards women. When pressed for his reaction though, the GFC head coach did address the issue a bit.
"It doesn't matter for me," Tarverdyan said. "We have a fight in front of us on November 14th, and that's all I worry about and I care about at this point. It's her mom at the end of the day and that's it."
"I'm a person who have never spoke any negative about anybody's mom, and I will never do that -- friendship, anybody. I've always said that a mom is a mom, and that's it. That's all I have to say."
"It does not matter," Edmond said about the video coming out close to Ronda's fight. "Nothing surprises, nothing is going to change about my opinion, my thoughts. I'm focused on the fight."
While Edmond didn't elaborate much on his thoughts, Rousey she declined to comment on it completely.
"Well, any reaction or response I have for my mother, she's going to hear from me and not a media outlet," Rousey said.
When asked if they've spoken to her mother about it, Ronda brushed it off saying "I don't think that's anybody's business."
