TUF: China winner Zhang Lipeng has found a new home, as the lightweight standout has joined the ranks of Road FC. Korea is known to be one of the hot beds of MMA talent in the Asia, and now the country's top promotion has added one of the biggest Chinese stars as they continue their international expansion.

Road FC heads to their 3rd different country this year when they host a show in Shanghai, China, with the December 26th event also playing host to Zhang promotional debut.

Lipeng went 2-2 on his one-year stint with the UFC, where he won The Ultimate Fighter: China then had an impressive showing against Brendan O'Reilly. He then dropped two competitive decisions against Chris Wade and Kajan Johnson, and while he is such a big draw in the region, it still lead to Zhang's somewhat surprising UFC release.

China is notorious for having countless regional shows that don't show up on online databases, leaving their local fighters' records mostly incomplete, but Zhang was recently seen picking up a win in a big local card following his UFC stint. At Road FC 27, Lipeng will look to build on that as he debuts against taekwondo-based Korean Yung Gi Hong.

Also featured on the upcoming Shanghai card is former K-1 star Mighty Mo Siliga, who is coming off a 37-second knockout against PRIDE vet Choi Mu Bae at Road FC 26 earlier this month. He takes on Korean heavyweight striker Myung Hyun Man, who is also fresh off a quick KO win on the same event.
