Bellator is back on Friday night, and much like the UFC, their card has been snakebit by a collapsed main event. Marcos Galvão was supposed to face off against Eduardo Dantas in the first defense of his bantamweight title and a rematch for the two former training partners. But an injury to Dantas scrapped the fight, leaving recently stripped middleweight champion Halsey in the main event to fight dangerous Brazilian striker Rafael Carvalho for the vacated title. Alongside the returns of Brennan Ward, Michael Page, Goiti Yamauchi and the stateside debut of Isao Kobayashi, it's still a fun card with lots of interesting talent, just not quite the event it was supposed to be.
