Sage Northcutt dazzles Tristar Gym with front flip

Budding star Sage Northcutt has made quite the impression at Tristar Gym.

UFC newcomer and highly touted lightweight prospect Sage Northcutt has set the MMA world abuzz with excitement since his debut at UFC 192.

The 19-year-old, life-long mixed martial artist blitzed Francisco Trevino with an onslaught of punches and ground and pound to score a TKO in the 1st round. What was perhaps more impressive, however, was the front flip he exhibited in the post-fight interview.

Northcutt recently took his MMA and acrobatic talents to Tristar Gymnasium, where he trained alongside his idol, Georges St-Pierre.

While the former kickboxer entered Tristar as a student, Northcutt embraced the teacher-role when he tried to demonstrate his front flip to the rest of the team. Check it out.

Northcutt will not be staying at the Canada-based gym permanently, however, as the college student has a home and MMA academy in Katy, Texas. The undefeated fighter has flirted with the idea of dropping out of college to pursue a full-time career in mixed martial arts, though.
