Daniel Cormier was the man that came up short against Jon Jones at UFC 182 last weekend. Once the news of Jones' drug test failure for cocaine metabolites came to light, naturally people wanted to know what Cormier thought of the situation and whether he knew about the failed test before the fight, since the results came back 10 days before the fight went down.

It turns out that he didn't know.

MMA Fighting reports that Cormier found out about the failure just before the news was released to the public, and offered a statement to the site regarding the troubling report and that Jones has admitted himself into rehab:

"I am aware of Jon's test, and if there is anything to say it is this: there are a lot of people you impact, so please let's get it together. Good luck on your rehab!"

The test was administered on December 4th andthe results were confirmed on December 23rd. Cormier and Jones faced off for the UFC light heavyweight title on January 3rd, with Jones taking a unanimous decision win.
