Chechen promotion ACB heads to Poland, Cody McKenzie vanquisher Beslan Isaev headlines card

Chechen promotion ACB kicks off 2015 with a show in Poland, and will feature one of their top talents Beslan Isaev in the main event.

M-1 Global

After concluding a fruitful year with a joint venture alongside leading Russian MMA promotion, M-1 Global, Chechen promotion Absolute Championship Berkut will ring in the new year with their debut event in Poland.

ACB 13 will feature a welterweight headliner between Beslan Isaev and Bellator veteran Jose de Ribamar Machado Gomes. Isaev's claim to fame was sending Cody McKenzie into retirement with a knockout last month at M-1Challenge 54/ACB 12 in St. Petersburg.

The event, which is scheduled to take place Jan. 31 in Plock, will also showcase an array of talent from the North Caucasus region. An example of the promotion's talent from Chechnya is Rasul Shovhalov, who's only career losses have come at the hands of Zubaira Tukhugov and Albert Tumenov - both of whom currently fight for the UFC.

With the steady stream of talent being discovered in the region, several of these fighters could find themselves in the UFC or Bellator in the near future.

Here is the updated fight card:

Beslan Isaev (31-7) vs. Jose de Ribamar Machado Gomes (37-11)

Arbi Agujev (15-6,) vs. Abert Odzimkowski (7-1, Poland)
