The UFC 183 weigh-ins had a pair of brutal misses from two men who have made it a habit to miss weight. Flyweight contender John Lineker weighed in at 130 lbs for his fight with Ian McCall, making it an incredible 5th time that he's not managed to even make 126 lbs on the first attempt. He will not re-weigh, and he will be fined 20% of his purse. Meanwhile, the report of welterweight Kelvin Gastelum having a rough weight cut proved to be true, as he tipped the scales at an incredible 180 lbs for his co-main event with Tyron Woodley. This is the 3rd time that Gastelum has missed weight on the first attempt, and obviously he won't be re-weighing and has also been fined 20% of his purse. (Update: That'll be 30% for both)
Everything else went along smoothly, including the main event between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz. But the story of the weigh-ins is clearly Gastelum and Lineker, two top 10 talents who continues to make a meal out of weight-cutting.
Here are the complete results. You can view a replay of the weigh-ins here.
