Another contender stepped up to face The Spider, and another was crushed. #2 seed Bas Rutten, fresh off his win over Jon Jones, had absolutely nothing for #1 seed Anderson Silva, who rolled through him with ease. A sign of things to come when Silva returns to the cage Saturday night? In our tournament, he now takes on Lyoto Machida in the Final Four.

Today, our last Final Four participant is determined, and it is a fight I am quite looking forward to. #3 seed Fedor Emelianenko vs. #4 Georges St. Pierre. The two men come in after taking out higher seeds Mirko Cro Cop and Mark Hunt - now the upset run for one of these men will come to an end.

One interesting sidebar - these two met in the semifinals of our GOAT tournament, with Fedor taking the win 123-104. Time for a clean sweep, or revenge for Rush?
