UFC fight bookings roundup – 1/20 – 1/27/15

Since the UFC has decided to produce 50+ events in 2015, there is a remarkable amount of fighter signings and new match-ups being set up throughout any given week. Many of these new signings are for match-ups that take place on the undercard, or on the Fight Pass portion of a PPV, so we are going to continue with a new weekly (or bi-weekly if needed) series of articles where we take a brief look at each and every bout booked by the promotion in one place.

UFC Fight Night: Bigfoot vs. Mir

A women's bantamweight contest between Jessica Andrade (12-3 MMA, 3-1 UFC) and Marion Reneau has been added to the featured prelims of the evening.

UFC Fight Night: Faber vs. Assuncao

Several fights have been added to the March 21^st fight card at the Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, including Matt Wiman vs. Leonardo Santos, Cain Carrizosa vs. Leonardo Mafra Texeira and Drew Dober vs. Leandro Silva.

UFC Fight Night: Mendes vs. Lamas

Middleweights Luke Barnatt and Clint Hester will meet on the April 4^th fight card in Fairfax, VA.

The UFC's return to Montreal will now feature a match-up between welterweights Nordine Taleb and Claudio Silva.
