UFC fighter rankings: Anthony Johnson becomes top ranked light heavyweight contender

Anthony Johnson will enter his title shot against UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones as the #1 ranked contender in the division following his TKO over Alexander Gustafsson on Saturday.

Esther Lin, MMA Fighting

UFC on Fox 14 was a big weekend for the light heavyweight division. Ryan Bader nudged past Phil Davis on the undercard, while Anthony Johnson cemented himself as the #1 contender by going into enemy territory and knocking out Alexander Gustafsson. It cost Gustafsson his #1 position in the weight class and his spot on the P4P rankings. Meanwhile, Dan Henderson was dropped from the top 10 at light heavyweight after a middleweight loss to Gegard Mousasi. Of course, even though he didn't even fight, Conor McGregor gained another spot at featherweight (more on that later).

The full UFC rankings can be viewed here. Bloody Elbow is represented by Fraser Coffeen, whose ballot you can see by clicking on the dropdown menu next to "Voting panelists".

Pound-for-Pound: Ronda Rousey moves up to 7th while T.J. Dillashaw is back down to 8th. Vitor Belfort heads to 13th while Dominick Cruz falls to 14th. Alexander Gustafsson has since been replaced by Fabricio Werdum.

Women's Strawweight: Tecia Torres (#5) swaps spots with Joanne Calderwood (#6) in the only change.

Flyweight: Jussier Formiga rounds out the top 5 after a previous tie for 4th with John Moraga. Brad Pickett moves up to 13th at the expense of Wilson Reis ... Pickett has no plans to compete at flyweight again, so logically he has to get moved up.

Bantamweight: No changes

Women's Bantamweight: Without even fighting, Holly Holm once again crawls up the list, overtaking Germaine de Randamie for 13th.

Featherweight: Conor McGregor overtakes Ricardo Lamas for 3rd. Dennis Siver climbs back to 11th, which sends Clay Guida further down the top 15 at 12.

Lightweight: No changes

Welterweight: No changes

Middleweight: Gegard Mousasi moves up a notch to 7th, bumping Tim Kennedy down to 8th. Tim Boetsch returns to 13th ahead of Mark Munoz, with Boetsch fighting 11th ranked Thales Leites this weekend.

Light Heavyweight: Rumble is the #1 contender, Gustafsson dips to 2nd, which caused Daniel Cormier to slip to 3rd in a chain reaction move. Ryan Bader goes up to spots to 5th, while Phil Davis drops a spot into a tie for 6th with Glover Teixeira ... who Davis literally just beat in October. Dan Henderson takes the biggest tumble, as he loses 3 spots from 9th to 12th. Jimi Manuwa, Mauricio Rua, and Rafael Cavalcante assume positions 9th-11th. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira moves up to 13th, while Fabio Maldonado dips to 14th.

Heavyweight: No changes
