Nick Diaz will be in the main event of UFC 183 this Saturday against Anderson Silva, but let's flash back to 2005, when Diaz was buried on the preliminary card of UFC 51: Ortiz vs. Belfort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Coming off a thrilling split decision loss vs. Karo Parisyan, Diaz was booked against promotional newcomer Drew Fickett.
One classic Nick Diaz moment came at the halfway point of the 1st (and only) round, when Fickett was on his back with a loose hold of Diaz's neck but otherwise absorbing body punches. When Diaz's head broke free, he uttered "Whatcha gonna do now, bitch?". Evidently, Fickett was unable to do much of anything and was stopped with a heavy ground-and-pound assault with just 5 seconds remaining in the 1st.
