UFC fight bookings roundup – 1/14 - 1/20

Since the UFC has decided to produce 50+ events in 2015, there is a remarkable amount of fighter signings and new match-ups being set up throughout any given week. Many of these new signings are for match-ups that take place on the undercard, or on the Fight Pass portion of a PPV, so we are going to continue with a new weekly (or bi-weekly if needed) series of articles where we take a brief look at each and every bout booked by the promotion in one place.

UFC 185

Following the announcement that the UFC had signed the last man to beat Conor McGregor, Joseph Duffy, it was revealed that he would be matched up against Vagner Rocha at UFC 185 in March.

UFC Fight Night: Mendes vs. Lamas

Following the announcement that took place on the UFC Fight Night: Boston card, the UFC revealed two more bouts for their daytime fight card in Fairfax, Virginia. Bantamweights Lauren Murphy and former UFC title challenger Liz Carmouche will meet on the card, as well as newly signed heavyweights Shamil Abdurahimov and Timothy Johnson.

UFC 186

A slew of fights have been announced for the UFC's return to Montreal, the latest of which are Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. David Michaud, and Jessica Rakoczy vs. Valerie Letourneau.
