"I really do think that Georges St-Pierre will be back in '15". While Dana White has been optimistic on a return from one of their most dominant and marketable champions ever, people from his camp are saying otherwise.
"There is no plan for 2015," GSP's manager told MMA Junkie. "We are working on a few projects but nothing related for him coming back in the octagon."
St-Pierre last competed on November 2013. During his time away from competition, he has took on some movie roles, and has also balanced time rehabbing a 2nd ACL injury. He has since been medically cleared, and while Georges says he will never stop training, it looks like any plans for a return to Mixed Martial Arts isn't on the docket just yet.
"I don't know if I will go back to competition," GSP said last November about a potential return. "I just came back from rehab. It's time for me to enjoy my life. Training, do it for fun. We'll see. I need some time."
St-Pierre will be turning 34-years-old in a couple of months, and whether he eventually returns or not, he will surely go down as one of the best in the sport's history.
