Canadian UFC star Patrick "The Predator " Cote returns to action this weekend when he takes on dangerous striker Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson at UFC 178. Cote spoke to

Cote enters the bout on a three-fight win streak in the UFC, and hopes to continue climbing the ranks of the Welterweight division after a drop from Middleweight in 2013.

The Predator definitely serves as one of the sports most recognizable names, having put in two stints on the Ultimate Fighter reality show, on top of fighting some of MMA's biggest stars - including a championship title-match with Anderson Silva.

I had the opportunity to speak with Cote as he prepares for his fight with Thompson.

In our interview, he talks about spending some time in Thailand as he trained for UFC 178, what the biggest challenge in his career has been so far, what motivates him to keep fighting, his time served overseas with the Canadian Army, and if he minds being on the undercard of this weekends stacked PPV.
