While the vast majority of fighters are comfortable in air-conditioned hotel rooms during fight week in Las Vegas, Donald ‘Cowboy' Cerrone prefers to be one with nature at all times, which is why he chose to live out of his RV ahead of his scheduled co-main event against Eddie Alvarez.
"I like my RV," Cerrone told MMAFighting.com's Ariel Helwani. "It is good. We love being out there."
Asked how he cuts weight on the RV, Cerrone jokingly stated that he "dances at night with the old folks." He also claimed that wakeboarding and old-fashioned exercise was more efficient that the saunas available at his disposal in the hotel.
During the UFC 178 media day event, Eddie Alvarez referred to Cerrone as a "liar" for claiming he has never watched him fight in the cage. Cerrone was adamant that was the case but revealed that he is definitely aware of who the former champion is.
"I know the name Eddie Alvarez, absolutely. But I don't watch footage, no."
