The UFC's third trip to the Saitama Super Arena was an exciting endeavor loaded with an enticing assortment of stoppage wins and drawn-out wars that kept the Japanese fans satisfied throughout the night. While the violence was bountiful on this occasion, only 3 post-fight bonuses were offered up to the most deserving of those achievers.

Not only did Mark Hunt earn his first victory in over 17 months, he did so in emphatic fashion by handing Roy Nelson his first ever knockout loss in the UFC. The heavyweights went toe-to-toe for the better part of two rounds before Hunt found the crucial opening and landed a vicious uppercut that sent Nelson tumbling to the canvas. This marks Hunt's fifth post-fight bonus in eight UFC showings.

In one of the most impressive performances of the night, Myles Jury proved he is a legitimate force to be reckoned with in the lightweight division when he knocked out Takanori Gomi just 92 seconds into their co-main event berth. Jury commanded the center of the octagon and attacked the Japanese legend with pinpoint precision before eventually connecting with the fight-ending blows.

Kyung Ho Kang and Michinori Tanaka took home ‘Fight of the Night' honours for their entertaining contest that featured some exceptional grappling displays. Both men showed acute knowledge of the ground game and used intelligent scrambles and smooth transitions to wow the crowd for the better part of 15 minutes.

Performance of the Night: Mark Hunt, Myles Jury

Fight of the Night: Kyung Ho Kang vs. Michinori Tanaka

Update: It appears there was a mistake at the post-fight press conference and that Johnny Case will be taking the performance of the night bonus instead of Myles Jury.
