The UFC returned to Brazil for the fourth time this year and displayed a fight card filled with entertaining battles and exciting finishes. Amongst those were a variety of slick submission and quick knockouts.

The biggest upset of the evening took place in the main event of the UFC Brasilia fight card, as former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski turned back the clock with a staggering KO victory over Antonio ‘Bigfoot' Silva. It was vicious and decisive victory, as Arlovski hit ‘Bigfoot' with a counterpunch that leveled him before he forced the referee stoppage with a pair of hammer fists that separated the Brazilian from his senses.

Godofredo Pepey earned his second impressive stoppage victory this year on the feature prelim, as he locked in a triangle choke on Dashon Johnson before flipping himself over to finish the fight with an armbar. He has now secured bonuses in his last two octagon outings, one for a flying knee KO and the other for his armbar victory.

The co-main event lightweight contest between Gleison Tibau and Piotr Hallmann earned ‘Fight of the Night' honours, which is far from surprising considering it was one of the rare competitive encounters on the night's card. The two fought for 15 minutes in a close back-and-forth encounter, yet it was Tibau who got the nod via split decision.
