It's been over a year since Chan Sung Jung last fought inside the Octagon, but "The Korean Zombie" will soon be fighting again this October. The UFC confirmed earlier today that Jung will go up against Akira Corassani as part of the October 4th UFC Fight Night card in Stockholm.

Jung (13-4) lost his featherweight title fight to Jose Aldo at UFC 163 in the 4th round after separating his shoulder. Aldo kicked Jung multiple times on the injured arm and then finished the fight with punches on the ground. At the time of the stoppage, Jung was down 30-27 across the board on the judges' scorecards. The wildly entertaining 27-year-old has fought just 4 times in the UFC since the WEC merger at the end of 2010, with injuries being the primary culprit for his inactivity.
Corassani (12-4, 1 NC) rode a three-fight win streak in the UFC post-TUF 14, which lined him up for a fight against Dustin Poirier -- Jung submitted him before fighting for the title -- on the main card of the TUF Nations Finale in Canada. After a strong opening round, the Swede was swarmed by Poirier's attack and was knocked out just :42 into the 2nd round.
UFC Fight Night in Stockholm features welterweights Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story in the main event.
