The "new" Bellator wasted no time in cutting ties with War Machine in the wake of his latest set of legal woes. Just in case you missed the news over the last 90 minutes, Jon Koppenhaver (War Machine) is wanted as the prime suspect in a 3-person altercation at his Las Vegas home this morning that landed two people in the hospital, one of which was named "significant other." In light of this, Bellator has released War Machine from his contract. They issued this media alert:

Newport Beach, Calif. (August 8, 2014) - Bellator President Scott Coker has issued a statement regarding Jon Koppenhaver, War Machine:

"We have a zero tolerance policy here at Bellator when it relates to any form of domestic violence, and after learning of this latest incident involving Jon Koppenhaver, War Machine, Bellator is releasing him from him promotional contract with the organization."
