Some UFC officials seemed to have been okay with the brawl between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier that would certainly drive up interest on their upcoming UFC 178 bout. Count Matt Hughes as one of those who were disappointed in the whole situation.
The current Vice President of Athlete Development, is also tasked with overseeing fighter conduct and when he saw both Jones and Cormier still going at it on social media following their infamous brawl, he decided to flex some of that VP muscle:
@dc_mma @JonnyBones Chances are you 2 will not read this but what you've done is bad for the sport. I would stop talking about it.— Matt Hughes (@matthughes9x) August 4, 2014
