The UFC is set to unveil one of the thinnest Pay-Per-View cards in the promotion's history, following the cancelation of their previous PPV event, UFC 176. The event comes on the heels of a dual event night last Saturday, which featured fight cards in both Macau, China and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
UFC 177 will feature an unexpected main event between current champion T.J. Dillashaw and Joe Soto, while the co-main event will feature a lightweight contest between Danny Castillo and Tony Ferguson. Also on the card is a women's bantamweight bout between Shayna Baszler and Bethe Correia. Two other fights will follow this on the main card, one between Carlos Diego Ferreira and Ramsey Nijem and the other between Damon Jackson and Yancy Medeiros.
Leading into the PPV is a three-fight preliminary card on Fox Sports 1 that begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. The Fox Sports 1 preliminary card consists of: Derek Brunson vs. Lorenz Larkin, Anthony Hamilton vs. Ruan Potts and Cain Carrizosa and Chris Wade.
To get ready for the fights, here's some video analysis of the final three fights on the UFC 177 card by our own Dallas Winston, Zane Simon and Connor Ruebusch.
