Max Holloway is just a few days removed from a 2nd round TKO over injury replacement Clay Collard, and now "Blessed" finds himself playing the role of short-notice opponent. With Chan Sung Jung out of the UFC Fight Night Sweden co-main event, Holloway will now face Akira Corassani on October 4th in Stockholm.

Holloway (6-3) is 3-0 this year, finishing Will Chope and Andre Fili along the way before taking care of Collard. The 22-year-old featherweight has been one of the UFC's more reliable action fighters and has been very active since making his debut in 2011. This is the 4th time that Holloway has been called upon to replace an injured fighter, with his other late-notice appearances coming against Dustin Poirier (his debut), Leonard Garcia, and Conor McGregor.
Corassani (12-4, 1 NC) was undefeated in the UFC after his spell on TUF 14, but the Swede came up short against Poirier back in April, losing by early 2nd round TKO after getting off to a fast start. The 32-year-old's last outing in Sweden saw him win a decision over Robbie Peralta.
UFC Fight Night Sweden features welterweights Gunnar Nelson and Rick Story in a five-round main event.
