MMA's biggest upset of 2014 and perhaps one of the biggest upsets in UFC history took place in Las Vegas on May 24th, when T.J. Dillashaw thoroughly dispatched and knocked out reigning bantamweight champion Renan Barao in the 5th and final round. No one could've possibly predicted that Dillashaw would finish Barao after beating him up, let alone winning at all. Normally, a one-sided whooping doesn't merit an immediate rematch, but this fight is apparently an exception. This time around, it's Dillashaw with the belt and Barao chasing the title, and they're in Sacramento, where Dillashaw trains with Team Alpha Male.
In the co-main event of this PPV event is Tony Ferguson and Danny Castillo in the lightweight division, while Bethe Correia aims to continue beating the "Four Horsewomen" by getting past Shayna Baszler. Submission ace Carlos Diego Ferreira meets Ramsey Nijem, while late signing Damon Jackson fights Yancy Medeiros in the opening main card bout.
The preliminary card features middleweights Lorenz Larkin and Derek Brunson, plus the debut of Olympic gols medalist Henry Cejudo against Scott Jorgensen at 125 lbs.
Here's a look at the full bout order for what is apparently a pay-per-view event with the same price-tag as UFC 178 next month:
