Most of the UFC Fight Pass events have been held in Europe and Asia, primarily to accommodate the start times of the local regions instead of tailoring towards a primetime viewing for US audiences. On September 13th, the UFC's trip to Brazil's capital of Brasilia will mark their first Fight Pass show based in the Americas. Heavyweights Antonio Silva and Andrei Arlovski duke it out in the main event, a rematch of their 2010 Strikeforce encounter (won by Bigfoot via decision).
Gleison Tibau is the co-main event against Poland's Piotr Hallmann, while TUF Brazil 2 winner Leo Santos takes on the debuting Lukasz Sajewski. Sergio Moraes battles Santiago Ponzinibbio, Iuri Alcantara fights Russell Doane, and Jessica Andrade/Valerie Letourneau rounds out the main card.
